The Special Needs Education course prepares the trainee to guide children with disabilities or impairments.

In an inclusion classroom, students with disabilities and other special needs are taught with non-disabled students, instead of being isolated in a special education classroom. To help meet students’ varied needs, a special education teacher may work alongside a general education teacher in an inclusion classroom.

Taking this course will make you a better teacher, even if you teach in a normal school. The course can also be taken by medical professionals dealing with children who have special needs. Some parents might also be interested to take the course.
